Tylenol is rolling out a new series of goofy would-be viral ads featuring many of your favorite NASCAR drivers in some ridiculous situations. The gimmick is, this is how they release stress -- along with a couple pops of Tylenol, of course. You can see the horror that is Elliott Sadler in a wrestling singlet, Jimmie Johnson and Kevin Harvick in full-contact mini-golf, Jeff Gordon in well-armed ping-pong, and the whole gang in a bumper car fiesta, coming later this week.
You have to go to the "Project Downshift" website to view the videos, which doesn't seem the best way to make them go viral, but whatever. They're a fun little diversion, particularly if you happen to be a fan of one of these guys. Here's my question to you, though: what's your take on these videos? I know the line between entertainment and advertising has been completely obliterated, but do you enjoy these, or do you leave feeling conned at watching what amounts to a two-minute-long advertisement? Have your say ... and enjoy the videos.
