Betting on Tony Stewart to do well at Watkins Glen is like betting on Dale Earnhardt Jr. to ... hey, you know what? Let's be more charitable and not take cheap shots. It's a good day for NASCAR in general and the concept of the small businessman in particular. (Yes, Stewart Haas Racing isn't exactly what Washington would call a "small business," but you get my point.)
Anyhoo, while Marcos Ambrose formally announced his NASCAR arrival this weekend, Tony Stewart made sure that everybody understood what the real story is for 2009. Here, watch as he smokes -- pun intended -- both Ambrose and Kyle Busch:
Fine job there, Stewart. People are already penciling in Smoke as the 2009 champion, and while that's way too premature -- Jimmie Johnson is rounding into form -- you've got to consider Smoke a very, very good bet.
