Earnhardt Jr. gives all the credit to crew with first top-five since April at MIS at FanZone Sports - Racing: "It’s been a while since Dale Earnhardt Jr., the series’s reigning most popular driver, got a top-five finish. Thirteen races to be exact.
However, when Earnhardt Jr. came across the start/finish line in third at Michigan International Speedway on Sunday, he was quick to give all the credit to his crew chief and his pit crew.
“Real proud of my team,†Earnhardt Jr. said on pit road after the race. “They did a good job on pit road. Lance (McGrew, crew chief) made some good calls and it got the car driving really good at the end. I’m real proud of my team. I want to thank those guys and give them all the credit. They worked really hard all weekend and gave us a good car.â€"
