The wreck of the week was, without question, Jimmie Johnson's lap-three blowout in Texas. But since we've already covered that, let's take a look at another wreck that, in some small way, could affect the pace of the Chase. Juan Pablo Montoya got into the back of Carl Edwards, and Jeff Gordon spun in the ensuing melee -- that's two of Johnson's three closest pursuers involved. (Sorry, Carl.) Anyway, here's how it unfolded:
Gordon was able to recover somewhat, but Montoya was done for the day and the Chase. Somehow, though, I think we'll see him again.
