Fontana has got to be the most boring race on the circuit. The track is 75 feet wide and the drivers still avoid each other by going onto the apron. Yesterday wasn't helped by the rain or the fact it was won by a guy that could calm hysteria with his personality. Matt Kenseth is slightly less boring than a brick.
Dale Jr looked okay until his, like Hendrick's team mate Martin's, car dropped a valve. This season is already reminding me of 2007 and that's not good. Although Junior frequently has bad luck in the February race in southern California. Remember last year when then team mate Casey Mears lost control on a wet spot and collected Junior in the spin?
It's now off to Vegas and hopefully a win. It's another track Junior is hit or miss on but Hendrick's has always done well so lets hope that makes Las Vegas 2009 a good day for Dale Earnhardt Jr.
