Papis will drive No. 66 at Infineon

Haas CNC Racing officials have switched the drivers for their NASCAR Sprint Cup cars this weekend at Infineon Raceway.

Road-course ace Max Papis will drive the team's No. 66 entry while Scott Riggs, who normally drives that car, will move over to the No. 70.

Both teams are outside the top 35 in owner points and must make this weekend's Toyota/Save Mart 350 based on qualifying speed. But the No. 66 team is just seven points outside the top 35 in owner points. A strong performance at Infineon could boost that team back into the standings.

The No. 70 team, which is 44th in the owners standings, 496 points outside of the top 35, has been driven by a number of competitors this season.
