So this should be interesting: many of your favorite NASCAR drivers are going to be playing "Are You Smarter Than A Fifth Grader?" for charity over the next few weeks. (Hack joke: The drivers were heard to say, "School goes all the way up to the fifth grade?" Feel free to add your own below.)
Anyway, tonight Michael Waltrip and David Ragan will play in an evening edition of the game. I'm assuming they'll do well, seeing as how they can get in some extra studying while everybody else is fooling around in Victory Lane. Then in three weeks, when the show moves to weekly syndication, the unemployed and the ill will get to watch Carl Edwards, Kurt Busch and Denny Hamlin play the daytime version of the show. Check your local listings, as the saying goes, to figure out where the shows are airing.
No truth whatsoever to the rumor that Jimmie Johnson and Chad Knaus declined to participate because they couldn't use the "cheat" assist every single question. Or that Mark Martin declined because he used to chisel his fifth-grade homework on cave walls. Or that Joey Logano will be one of the third-graders helping out. Or ...
